The Search for Solutions to the Water Crisis

This educational tour is designed for travellers who are concerned about the issues facing the Middle East, but especially the increasingly dire need for water - a vital challenge for those living in Jordan and the Levant watershed.

Given the current conflicts, travel to and through Jordan is ideal for those of us who care deeply about the region but feel more safe and secure on the Jordanian side.

There is much to see and experience throughout the Kingdom of Jordan, the many diverse people, historic sites and famous places that enrich Jordanian life

The iconic Jordan River and Valley, and what has happened to the water flowing through it, is a central focus of this tour. After the first three days in Amman and meeting with experts in Jordanian cultural life and all aspects of water management, we will travel north to Umm Qais, overlooking the Levant and the Sea of Galilee, then all the way south to Aqaba on the Red Sea.
