Madaba & Mount Nebo 

8:30am pick up from New Park Hotel, Amman

Head towards a local Women’s Cooperative, just outside of Amman. Explore the organization and witness the production of paper, ceramics and other handi crafts.

Aiming to make women financially independent and to raise their standard of living, through making cultural handicrafts, like ceramics and embroideries.  You'll have the opportunity to purchase small gifts from the co-op to support the local women.

Then head to Madaba "the City of Mosaics”, which has the oldest known mosaic map of the holy land.  Visit to The Church of Saint George and walk through the quaint streets of the city, learning the history of Saint John the Baptist

After that, a visit to Mount Nebo, a sacred mountain, where views of The Dead Sea, Bethlehem and even Jerusalem are possible on a clear day.

Return to Amman
