Jerash is a city in Northern Jordan, renowned for its preservation and restoration of prominent Roman structures. Step back into the heart of ancient Roman and Byzantine history on this trip to the well-preserved city.
Then head to the fertile highlands of North Jordan - Ajloun. Known for the famous Ajloun Castle Trail, where you'll follow the trail that winds north to the ruined hilltop church.
8:30am meet at the New Park Hotel for departure
Jerash will be our first stop, visiting a local organization, for an immersive and authentic journey into Jordanian traditions by local women of Salt or Experience authentic agritourism in Jordan - connecting with local farmers and participate in hands-on activities.
Walk through the ancient streets, taking in the colonnaded streets, public squares and hilltop temples, while experiencing the history of Jordan.
Then continue towards Ajloun, in the highlands of North Jordan.
Visit the Ajloun Castle, taking the Trail through the fascinating labyrinth of towers and staircases, while its position provides stunning views of landscapes including the Jordan Valley.
Take the optional ride via cable cars over Ajloun's peaks.
