Start with a walking tour visiting the Roman Theater, Citadel, and Temple of Hercules.
The guide will discuss the variety of people who live in today's Amman, their histories, challenges, and political status. There will also be time for walking through the ancient souks and shopping.
Enjoy a local lunch in the Old City, and try some “Knafeh” - a traditional Palestinian dessert!
After lunch, visit a local refugee camp established to accommodate refugees who were displaced from Palestine. Learn about the life and history of the camp and visit a local family to hear their stories.
A stop at a local Museum - for a look at traditions in Palestinian and Jordanian culture and heritage.
Explore the neighbourhood of Al Weibdeh -an area that connects the old and the new city of Amman. This artsy neighbourhood is home to contemporary art galleries, a variety of quaint cafes, graffiti and painted murals.
